The Museum of Design and Architecture was a course project in my final semester of school, where we were instructed to design an identity system for a fictional museum. Additionally, our first exhibition was to be one on the design of "everyday" objects, and so we were to pick one item to focus on specifically. I chose jeans.

The Museum of Design and Architecture seeks to celebrate the design of the everyday experience, from conception to construction. By focusing on the way smaller pieces come together to form new ideas, the MDA hopes to create a more complete understanding of our modern world.

The MDA is ever-changing, hosting just a single exhibition at a time, for exactly sixty days, in addition to our permanent collection. We seek to highlight a wide array of exhibitions that present a variety of viewpoints and span geographic and economic influences.

Finally, the MDA is dedicated to community involvement through art outreach programs, art education, and hands-on interaction.
